Depending on your interests, you will be taken to different locations making this tour a more personalized.

Starting with a hotel pick-up, you will be driven to the meeting point where you will choose your bike and meet your friendly local English-speaking guide. Your guide will ask you some questions about your likes and interests, this way he will know which will be the most interesting places for you which makes the tour personalized and special. This way you will get the best of Bogotá in a few hours.

You will begin by riding through the city center, and you will roam through the vivid and enchanting neighborhood of La Candelaria. Being the oldest neighborhood in the capital, you will be able to see the contrast of the colorful colonial houses and the vibrant urban street art. You will have the chance of seeing this closer at Chorro de Quevedo, where you will make a short stop, to have a better comprehension of Colombia’s history.

Then, you will keep on riding until you reach the Plaza de Bolivar. This square is the historical epicenter of the city. Surrounding the square you will find most significant and prestigious administrative and governmental buildings. They have become part of the capital’s growth, history and the everyday life of locals. Here you will hear more about the square’s history and everything that’s going on in the present day.

Next, you will ride through the Séptima Avenue which one of the main avenues in Bogotá, but from the Plaza de Bolivar to the 26th street it’s only for pedestrians and cyclists. You will go to a Tejo where you will have the opportunity to try some shots of Colombian national sport. After this we will make a stop at Parque Nacional to try a refreshing salpicón prepared with a mix of tropical fruits.

You will continue the tour by going to Teusaquillo, a neighborhood that was considered the one of the most modern and elegant neighborhood(s) in the 1930’s. Its architecture is very different from the rest of the city; you will find English Victorian, art deco and modernist houses all through the area. There is a whole story behind this influence which you will learn as you ride through this wonderful neighborhood.

Finally, you will make a coffee stop at a local raster. There you will experience the last part of the coffee process, which is the roasting, and will learn why the Colombian coffee has its deserved fame.
